The Nuns on the Bus Tour left Des Moines, IA Monday and will join the Overpass Light Brigade on Tuesday night.

Milwaukee, WI – The Overpass Light Brigade has announced that they will have a special guest with them for their next bridge party and newest illuminated LED message. The Nuns on the Bus, a group of Catholic sisters who are traveling the Country by bus to call into question future legislation being considered by the U.S. Congress that they say, “…further enriches the wealthiest Americans at the expense of struggling, impoverished families.” (Nuns on the Bus website) will be joining up with OLB on a Wisconsin pedestrian bridge Tuesday, June 19th.

Overpass Light Brigade has been hitting Wisconsin overpass bridges with political message for drivers and passerby’s.

Occupy Riverwest will be live streaming this event through our Ustream account, which will be picked up by OccupyWI. If you can’t join the “holders of the light” and the Nuns on the Bus in person, than come and join the bridge party virtually. OLB has requested that anyone interested in participating in this once in a lifetime experience, send a message to their Facebook page with their email address so that they can send you the details. Hope you can join us in-person or virtually.

We have learned that the Nuns on the Bus will also be joining the striking Palermo’s Pizza workers on the picket line tomorrow at 10:45. Should be a fun couple of days!

Thank you for keeping Ryan’s awful policy out there.

Would also like to come in solidarity to the light brigade tonight, where is the location

I will be there to support Palermo’s striking workers. Wish more people were willing to sacrifice for the good of the many.
